Polarisation maintaining fibers – PM Fibers
A specially developed FC connector allows a precise alignment of the PM fiber in the ceramic ferrule to one of the two axes. Both “slow axis” and “fast axis” are supported. Thanks to the special design of the FC connector as well as the APC polish very efficient coupling can be ensured. All PM fibers available on the market can be assembled. They are manufactured according to customer specifications.
